AA conducts archaeological work throughout the CNMI, from deep jungle work to recover human remains to monitoring and documenting Latte era sites along the main Beach Road of Saipan or near the House of Taga on Tinian. We work directly with construction crews installing utilities on each island (archaeological monitoring), human remain recovery with Japanese teams from JARRWC, and inventory survey for companies who purchased land on Tinian and want to develop a quarry area. AA also conducts archival research for each project and writes documents in advance of projects acceptable to the CNMI-Historic Preservation Office. AA works with private developers, engineering firms, planning firms, and CNMI government organizations such as the Northern Marianas Housing Corporation and Department of Public Works, among others.
